| Bio: | I don't know who I am. That changes on a daily--sometimes hourly--basis. A lot of what is on this journal is about books and TV shows (old and new), mixed with some things going on in my life. Years ago, I did a friend a favor and beta'd one of her Scarecrow and Mrs. King fanfics. After I'd done a couple more for her, she twisted my arm right out of its socket until I agreed to try my hand at writing my own fic. Other than some Hardy Boys fic I wrote with my best friend when we were children (before the TV show, so it was fanfic for the books), I'd never tried to write fanfic and wasn't sure I'd enjoy it. I loved the show during the original run (1983-1987) and watched it in syndication on The Family Channel, Lifetime, and PAX. I figured I might as well give it a go and found I like writing more than expected. I haven't written a lot lately, but I keep wanting to get back into it. I enjoy SMK so much, I became the coordinator for SMK Anniversary celebrations. Obsessed? Nope. I just really like the show, cast, crew members I've met and many of my fellow SMK fans. I've been fortunate enough to meet Bruce Boxleitner, Kate Jackson, Beverly Garland, Martha Smith, Paul Stout, Greg Morton, Myron Natwick, Joseph Brutsman, Richard Herd (guest star) and Dennis Duckwall (producer). My only regret is not meeting Mel Stewart before he passed away. By all accounts, he was a wonderful, wonderful man. | |||||
